Why did miracles happen in Egypt? Because we believed they would. Those who didn't believe in miracles saw only plagues.
i love it.
Mrs Gourary taught us that it says somewhere that if krias yam suf were to happen today we would call it a tsunami.
we have to open up our eyes and then we will realize.......
its awesome!!!!
reminds me of the story about the guy desperate for a parking ticket to the point that he starts making deals with Hashem till he finds a spot and says "dont worry about it, G-d, i found a spot myself"
and the same idea with the drowning guy who wants G-d to save him so refuses the boat and helicopter that come to rescue him on the account that G-d will save him.
aaaah! we gotta efen oif di eygen!!

The tsunami thing-i get how you can open your eyes and look at it as teh helem v'hester etc. before moshiach but it's not exactly krias yam suf y'know-people died!! get what i'm saying???
no no no. mrs gourary was saying that we are really not in tune with miracles, we see everything as nature. for example if krias yam suf were to happen in out times we would say it was a tsunami instead of realizing its an awesome miracle!! du chaptz?
ich chaptz.
like it would be a natural force of wind... maybe not a tsunami because that's an earthquake and krias yam suf happened with a great wind... so maybe a hurricane.
but it's true!
so let's try to tune in a lil... how bout we try to share it when we see it... cuz miracles are not just on a grand scale, but also personal!
chizkiyahu's generation wasnt worthy of moshiach cuz they didnt thank Hashem for the miracles, but we will!!! Moshiach now!
